Valentine's Day Red Velvet Chocolate Chunk Bars
Yummy and easy to make, these bars are the perfect dessert to end your Valentine's Day dinner.
Boxes Duncan Hines Red Velvet cake mix
unsalted sweet cream butter, softened
chocolate chunks plus 1/2 C to add to the topping
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line a 9x13 baking dish with parchment paper
Using a standing mixer, beat together the cake mix, egg, butter and vanilla until combined
Fold in the 1 1/2 C of chocolate chunks
Press the batter into the baking dish and top with the remaining 1/2 C of chocolate chunks
Bake in the preheated oven for 35-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean in the center
Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars and enjoying!
